Tines are tough. What a time to jump off a cliff and hope to fly in the art business - like there’s a good time to jump off a cliff.
About me: I graduated from the Maryland Institute of Art with a BFA. Cum Laude, but the label was glued on my diploma a little crooked. I’ve been a commercial illustrator since graduation until about now. Lots of fantastic clients. Awards include numerous inclusions in Print’s Regional Design Annuals and the Society of Illustrators Annual.
About the fork: I was riding my bike last summer. I had stopped at a red light at a very busy intersection when I glanced down to see the fork. Having never come upon an actual fork in the road, I felt compelled to pick it up. I think I chose the right path. Art is where I hang my fork now.
